I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2024
Interview
Several rounds of interviews and once I got to the third or fourth round of interviews, I had an interview with the Director and the manager of the team plus the recruiter and the experience was terrible. I was consistently grilled on a variety of questions and given scenarios that would be difficult to answer, unless I was directly already in the position. On top of all of this, I was also required to make and present a slide deck.

Question 1
They gave a series of questions asking how I would interact with the sales team.
Three rounds of interview after initial phone screen, no response after last round so assuming no offer. Typical STAR interview questions (tell me about a time when X), everybody was friendly and professional
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Stamford, CT) in Jan 2018
Interview
I had 3 rounds of interviews; 1 phone interview, 1 interview with my future Manager, and 1 interview with the team manager. The process took about a month total until I was offered the position. I was asked about my experience, my strength, my weaknesses, and why I would want the role. The interviews were conducted in a professional manner that was not intimidating and made me feel comfortable. I also attribute that to the amazing managers who interviewed me. Overall, a great experience.
