I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner (Egham, England) in Jul 2017
Interview
The interview stage was broken down into 5 stages:
1. Relaxed call with a recruiter internally at Gartner. This was mainly around general background information and interest in sales. It was also a really good opportunity to find out about Gartner as a company, and more about the roles available.
2. Second call with senior recruiter which went into more detail about sales drive and specific experiences and competency's.
3. Webex interview which included a short sales role play.
4. Face to face interview at the office in Egham. This includes more specific examples, questioning around motivation, drive, sales processes and targets.
5. Final call and follow up.
Overall, it was a good interview process. The time in between receiving the responses was quick, and at each stage they offered feedback to take onto the next interview. This was really helpful, and leads into the company culture of providing regular feedback for continuous improvement.

What would you do if you didn't hit your target one month?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner (Naples, FL) in Jul 2017
Interview
Extremely long and grueling process. By far the most extensive interview I have ever been apart of. Started with group interview, then a 3 on 1 panel interview for one hour, then a Q&A with a couple account managers, followed by a 30 minute whiteboard session where you literally write everything about Gartner and a whiteboard in full detail. They grill you the entire time. After that its a 20 minute role play session where you have to sell a make believe company on Gartner.

Question 1
Group Interview: (You enter into a conference room with about 15 Gartner employees already sitting in the room - you sit down at table with a wikipedia page in front of you - the wikipedia page is of someone successful within the IT realm ... for example I had Bill Gates) The question is "You are all on a sinking ship, only one of you may survive, you have 10 minutes, decide who survives among one another, GO!"
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner
Interview
The interview process was very organised, fast and professional. I was contacted by an internal recruiter. First there was a basic interview to see if you have a good overview of the company and if you would fit in. The second interview is about you, how good you would fit into Gartner, your motivations and why you choose to work in Sales and Gartner. A lot of examples from your academic, professional life are asked.
The third interview is a combination of the first 2, but a little more deeper and in detail. Plus there is a short role play about a discovery call. Try to be confident, and very curious.
They give a lot of feedback, try to do the best with it!
