I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
The first stage was okay, they asked basic questions such as "how would you redesign your university course". At the final stage they asked quite hard questions such as "how many users does google photos have", "how would you create a product that gives the feel of fast internet connection for a user with spotty internet" etc.
Generally friendly and nice. The interview experience is intense, covering several areas, and you need to get to the point. This year the interview process is extremely competitive. Outside the interview, the recruiting team is very supportive.

Classic product design, improvement and strategy. Got trapped at the technical round. Super long, but pleasabke process. There are two rounds. One phone screen and one onsite. Recruiters are super helpful.
