I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Google in Aug 2022
Interview
Very long process. The recruiter contacted me 1 month after I submitted the resume. It takes 2 weeks to get feedback from the first round interview and 3 weeks for the second round.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Google (Santiago) in May 2022
Interview
Standard process, 2 behavioral interviews, 1 technical interview and 1 presentation, the process took like 3 months, the last part was the longest.
Got a lot of support by the recruiter who was always giving me clear instructions and answering my concerns in a short time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
technical: 60% general, 40% about the specific function (Data/infra/appmod).
behavioral: mostly situational, could answer with past experiences or hypothetical, using STAR format. As a recommendation, always ask for more details.
presentation: role playing situation where you try to sell a solution to a business person and also a technical person. Pretty straightforward, all the instructions for this step are super clear and standard, is recommended to known the technical solution in a high level, because the question they ask you are difficult.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jun 2022
Interview
This was a horrible interview process. Google recruiters reached out to me and then put me into contact with a recruiter who was not responsive and showed up 15 min late to a call with no heads up. The interview process itself had no diversity, all of my interviewers were white males and after reading how Google had paid women less money than men for the same job, this was very disheartening and probably the reason I did not get hired as I asked about the article in my interviews. I had 3 amazing interviews and received excellent feedback from my interviewers themselves. The recruiter called me and told me they were not moving forward with me because of my "tech" interview but could not give me any specifics as to which concepts I missed or what they were looking for. Google recruiters are supposed to prep their candidates fro these kinds of interviews and I could not have been less prepared. The interview told me to "apply again in 6 month" even though I have no idea how to "improve." Clearly Google is not committed to diversity. I am a Latina female with 5+ years of experience in the tech world, so honestly to tell me I wasn't "technical" enough is a silly excuse for not hiring a bad a** female who will challenge the status quo.
