Question 1
Questions on how you would do cost allocations across business from one aggregate report.
Applied online, 1st round interview was conducted by phone with the hiring manager. He was very nice and shared his experience of the company to me. questions are mostly behavioral and asked about my old experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in May 2020
Interview
I saw a job posting on Google Career website and decided to reach out to a current employee, whom I have connected with on LinkedIn. He was kind enough to be my referral. Then, the recruiter reached out to me a few days after.
Below is how the process went:
1) 30-minute phone call with the recruiter
2) 45-minute conversation with the hiring manager
3) Four 45-minute conversations with different team leads. You should expect both behavioral and experience-based questions, along with hypothetical business scenarios.
Overall, my experience is very positive. All 5 of my interviewers are genuine and approachable, and it was not hard for me to connect with them on a personal level. They gave really thoughtful responses to my Q&A, which I really appreciated. The vibes were not stressful or pressuring, allowing me to lead the conversation and shine in my own way. It was a great opportunity for me to interview with Google Finance.
