Interview
Received a mail in December asking about the required documents and deciding a time for the telephonic interview. The date decided was 45 days later. Ample time to prepare.
I also received detailed information on what will be asked and how I can prepare for the same.
The Interview timings were very flexible.

A question related to binary search, which is a kind of weak spot and I always avoid using it.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Google
Interview
As it's well known google follows a 3 interview process. I had 3 interviews and they were spanned across 2 months.
The first and the second interview were both general interview discussing the work I had done and then commenting on it.
The last and the final interview was a challenging one. I was asked about my future aim aim and how as an intern I can benefit Google. The asked me as an intern how would I fit in the corporate environment. Lastly they asked me a design question which did not a have a fixed problem to see my design thinking.
Submitted an application in December, heard back a few months later. Had two phone interviews and a rejection. Even if you're not applying for an engineering job they really want people who are super connected to the internet and social media. It is almost as if they are trying to prove a point so it would help to become more active on social media in the months leading up to the application.
