Interview started with a coding challenge, not too difficult, somewhere in the LeetCode Medium to Easy range. After that was two phone interviews, where you have to solve a LC Medium in a google doc while explaining your thought process to the recruiter. I suggest practicing coding in a google doc ahead of time as the formatting (or lack thereof) can be quite offputting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were very concerned with your approach to solving each problem. You have to describe how you came about the solution.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Google
Interview
You gotta apply through their carrees website. Then, I received an online test about algorithms in a weird platform. It is wise to practice on their platform with others problems since there a week time to answer the test but only 1h to submit once it starts. I was a good experience for studying and preparing for interviews.
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2020
Interview
Very thorough and thought out. Well organized but fairly time consuming if you reach later rounds. Practice your leet code in and out to succeed (also cracking the coding interview).
