I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google in Dec 2020
Interview
One online coding assessment, followed with two back-to-back 45-min technical interviews. I had to do an additional technical interview after because they said that they needed more data on me, which I don't necessary think is a bad thing. It is a long process and Google takes their time.

Question 1
Data Structures and Algorithms. They like to ask several questions that build on each other
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in May 2018
Interview
Two whiteboard questions, not particularly difficult but the interviewers did not know how to phrase the question correctly. Took me about 15-20 min to understand what they were saying because they were so unclear. One of the interviewers was not a fluent English speaker (so it took a while to explain the question) and I could hear the second interviewer slurping and eating things on the other end of the call (which made my confidence waver because he seemed so disinterested). I was already sick that day and extremely nervous, so to be treated this way tipped me over and I cried afterwards.

Question 1
If Susan and her 4 friends went on a trip and they each had 50 dollars, but different spending, how can they pay each other back? (See, it doesn't make sense).
i interviewed with google for their software engineer intern position. I was sent a coding challenge beforehand. The interview was a mixture of technical and behavioural questions. All were easy/medium leetcode style questions.
