Google Software Engineer - Internship interview questions

I applied through an employee referral and received an email for the first round. We scheduled two back-to-back phone-screen interviews. The interview process was smooth. I received a rejection call approximately two weeks later.

It's actually the research intern position. My friend referred for me and I uploaded my CV online. I did two back to back interviews on skype. And got rejected on the next day after my interview.
