I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Google
Interview
Discovered by a recruiter. I was sent an email to schedule a phone interview.
There was about 3 pages long of information, links and suggestions to study.
Frankly, without prior knowledge of the process, and preparing for it for about a month, there was no way to ingest all this content in the few days I had to the interview day.
My advice: take your time, prepare, prepare, prepare. They expect you to follow a very specific script you can't just wing without preparation.
Postpone your interview if you don't think you're prepared. If you fail you're on to wait another year, so better postpone another week or 2: they don't care when you interview. I have friends who took several months between their recruiter contact and their interview to take the time to prepare. That's the way to do it.

Question 1
If you were the PM for the Windows phone, how would you make it successful?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Jul 2019
Interview
Had first conversation with recruiter who scheduled a follow-up for the technical PM interview. Also was helpful during the process in getting me prepared for the first product case interview with PM employee.
Interview with PM started about 20 minutes late and so was rushed. Got asked 2 questions; one PM case and a statistics/data/measurement question. I heard back within a week that I wasn't moving forward.

Question 1
How would you revolutionize the car wash industry?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Jul 2019
Interview
I only did a phone interview. The recruiter set up a time for me to get called by a current Product Manager, and then when the time came, I got a call that lasted 45 minutes. The first 40 min were on a question and the last 5 min was me asking questions.
