I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Google in Mar 2011
Interview
I had submitted my resume online but did not hear back from the recruiting group for this position
I received a call from a recruiter who did an initial screening asking me question on my resume and my interest in the job position.
This was followed by 4 video conference calls and 1 in person interview with various team members. First interview was with the actual hiring manager.
While it was great to visit the UK office, I was not too fond of the video conference interview. Two of my interviewers were 30 minutes to an hour late for the interview. The conference room was also quite warm making the interview quite uncomfortable.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2010
Interview
The arrogance of the people that I interfaced with at Google was off the charts. They act like they are founders of the company. I felt like telling my interviewer "are you kidding me, you have only been there for 1 year and think that you walk on water...get over yourself".

What product in the market place to you thing is well marketed and positioned?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Jan 2010
Interview
Good interview, the phone recruiter was meticulous in covering background detail and specific questions about my resume. The actual interview was standard, format questioning though it was a bit rushed. The job didnt work out because of a lack of specific experience in the social media field, but the overall experience was satisfactory.
