I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Hyderabad) in Nov 2022

Question 1
Interview 1 Technical screening(45 mins): The interviewer gave me a graph question. Implementation of the graph algorithm BFS with some obstacles. It was fairly easy but I was nervous and had a few mess-ups. However, I received another interview call. Interview 2 Technical screening(45 mins): this round went very smoothly and went for about an hour. The interview gave me a simple string question which I solved in around 15-20 mins with pseudocode and call. The question was similar to this one. He went on to ask me basic DSA fundamental questions like map vs unordered_map, time complexities of various data structures like BST, hash maps, etc. After this, I showed him my project and he seemed impressed.
applied through recruiter outreach early in June as I applied the previous year. took OA, scored perfect and went through 3 round of technical interviews, mainly focused on data structures and hashing. each interview was 45 minutes long.

Question 1
asked me to parse text and enter data into a storage system
Recruiter call, followed by technical screening, and then engineering interview. Overall, very standard process and followed closely to what I expected. The main issue I had was with the recruiter not communicating, causing me to almost miss the interview.
