There was code I had to write on Google docs while on the phone. Stressful environment and made a minor mistake that made me have to redo the answer and even though I got it right the second time, the interviewer was already disengaged. Asked some obscure brainteaser type questions after that. Wasn't a great experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Google in Jan 2023
Interview
Smooth, but I had to ping the recruiter for an update. The first contact was with an internal recruiter who shared info about the position and held a screening interview. Two technical interviews followed a week after. They last 45 minutes each. In my case, they consisted of a managerial interview and code review.
