Started out with the OA. Afterwards a recruiter reached out and explained the interview process where they included other candidates. There was four more interviews, three technical and one behavioural which I chose to split over two days. Unfortunately since the hiring team could not come to a decision the recruiter had me do two more technical interviews.

Ranging from medium on the easy side to hard leetcode questions. Also included a math type question.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Google (Warschau, Masowien) in Jun 2024
Interview
Overall the process is a bit chaotic. I got contacted by a recruiter, we scheduled the screen interview, it went fine, and the next stage was supposed to be scheduled after a team was found. I waited 2 months for a team match, by that time I already accepted another offer, but I took the 2nd stage (by that time my lead recruiter changed), and while it went alright, the team manager chose someone else. I was told my results were valid for 12 months and that they'll look for a team. There was silence for over 6 months (yet another recruiter change in between), I reached out, after a couple of weeks a team was found, I had a match call. It was fine, I waited a couple of weeks for a response, finally I was told that there was a change of plans and I can be hired as a frontend dev (applied for backend). I declined, and recruiter searched for another team, after 2 weeks I had a match call, this time everything went fine, they prepared an offer (lowballed), and after negotiating I accepted. Overall, from screening to hiring it was over a year, with lots of twists in between.
Difficulty was average (classic leetcode + behavioral).
The upside is that everyone on the way was very kind.
