Google Software Engineer II interview questions

Telephone round followed by onsite interview Top k elements using heap but interview wanted a more efficient solution quick select algorithm. Interviewer was based in a different office and not friendly. Didn’t provide any examples to the question asked and communication was off. However, it was a good experience and I’ll interview again in the future.

Phone call with a recruiter followed by a coding interviews. Did not make it past that stage. The question I got was quite difficult and I did come up with a non optimal algorithm but that was not enough.
