4 rounds of interview(3 coding + 1 bq)
coding: 2 dp + 1 sliding window, not too hard, but description is blur, need to clarify carefully.
1 week after VO, received email from recruiter said need 1 more technical round. Another dp question. Solved in 20 minutes. Got a follow up question, didn't solve in optimal solution. But realized the optimal solution in the end and explained it.
They reached out to me a couple years ago for an L3 role. Went through the recruiting round & met a software engineer for a chat but was put on hiring freeze, strung me along for 8 months thinking there was still gonna be a job, only for my recruiter to be laid off with no notice. I visited the office in New York, it’s nice but realized the culture was not for me, super “Bay Area” vibes. It’s a solid company if you can get in but I wasn’t blown away by my experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2023
