The process began with a positive and well-organized recruiter screening. However, the subsequent interview with the hiring manager was disappointing. I felt there was a lack of effort to create a comfortable and engaging interview environment; the interaction felt very one-sided. During my responses, the interviewer yawned multiple times, which conveyed a lack of engagement and interest in what I was sharing. This unprofessional behavior made me feel my time was not valued. The format of the interview resembled a 'viva' with a barrage of questions and minimal opportunity for in-depth discussion or for me to ask meaningful questions.
