Interview process was slow and clunky. The interviewers (one of whom I actually personally knew from a previous job) were rude and snarky. I get it, you're interviewing for **Google** so some arrogance or attitude is expected. But this team was covered in red flags. It was also my first set of interviews in ~4 years, so I'm sure I was at least a little rusty. But I was prepared: I studied up on Google (and the specific product this would support) and refreshed on my role-related knowledge, answered using STAR format, and and completed 6 rounds of interviews. I would give myself a B+ or A- on my interviews with them; alas, it was not good enough to land an offer, but the experience really soured me on applying to Google again.
