the process consists of a cognitive interview and if the first has a positive outcome, you will be interviewed by an expert in UX / UI designer. The questions were varied, presenting case studies and asking me for suggestions for improvements to some interfaces of both apps and websites.

Interview was not on based on the skill related knowledge but they also focused on the theory and common understanding related to UI/UX Design . Basically more than designing , They focused on asking what comprise a good UI/UX Design.
This was through a recruiter for a short-term contract so the hourly rate was already worked out and there was no room for negotiation.
My recruiter submitted me and within two weeks a Hangouts interview was set up. It was about 30-40 minutes. The hiring manager was professional, considerate and asked me relevant questions.
