I applied in-person. I interviewed at H&M in May 2017
Interview
Was interviewed by a department supervisor, then met with the department manager two weeks after the initial meeting. Interview questions were behavior-based, such as scenarios about how you will react in an interaction with a customer or fellow colleague.
I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (New York, NY) in Aug 2017
Interview
Very interactive, Great experience!
One of the most enjoyable interview processes I have been through.
In my case I had to go two times (like some other applicants)
They make you feel confortable all of the time so they can actually see your potencial.

I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Saint Louis, MO) in Jan 2019
Interview
I interviewed with the district recruiter. This was before the pandemic so we interviewed out on the floor in the ladies department where he first gave me a breakdown of his background. This was nice because I could see how he worked his way up in the company putting an emphasis on internal development which is something I was very much interested in. It felt like we were just having a conversation instead of an interview. You just have to be yourself. If you look at their career page you'll already get a sense of the company culture. Less than a year I was promoted to full-timer and started getting training as a supervisor and visual because I wasn't sure which route I wanted to take.
