I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at H&M (New York, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
It was a two-step interview process, both being group interviews. The first was pretty simple; you come into the store, are led into a room with two other applicants and the hiring manager, and asked a series of questions. The second is in like a special workhouse or something, and you have to do a bunch of seemingly unrelated activities with other applicants that test your teamwork and communication skills, I think. Overall, I don't think I did that well, but I got the job, so I'd say they're pretty lenient about it. Dress code is also relatively casual (I overdressed for the first one by accident).
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (Melbourne) in Sep 2018
Interview
I applied online and was contacted roughly 2 weeks later. the interview was a group interview that was around an hour long. there was lots of discussion in regard to the company values, we were then asked why we wanted to work at H&M and what inspired our outfits that we had chosen to wear that day. we were asked to speak about what 1/7 values resinated most with us and why. once everyone spoke. we then were given issues and were asked to discuss and come up with a solution as a team. we then took part in a role play activity to see how well we were able to work as a team in a stressful situation and handle customer concerns.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at H&M (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied online and I also went and met the manager in person with my resume. I did a phone interview which was more of a casual conversation than an interview. At the end of the phone call I booked an in person interview which I did as well.
