I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (London, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
Great interview which lasted about 7-10 minutes at the end I was given a trial shift which lasted about 2hrs. You work on the shop floor then have a 1:1 the response time on whether you got the job or not is agonising. After 2 weeks I spent my time following up my own application calling the store just to receive an automated HR email that I didn't get the job. I didn't expect this behaviour especially from a flagship store.

Interview
it was great and really easy as long as you act enthusiastic make sure you tell them you want to move up in the company and that you love their line of clothes also be slight familiar with their history.

I filled out my online form and within a week received a phone call. Had a quick phone call interview asking basic questions about my previous work history and why I chose H&M. Was asked to come in for an in-person interview.
In-person interview - Dressed fashionably in all black with a statement necklace and a blazer. Met with manager in a backroom of the sales floor. Was asked standard questions about myself, desired salary and my expectations for the job.
Didn't get a call back - called the store a week later and the interviewing manager said she thought she had called me but forgotten to and that I had got the job! Easy peasy.
