I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (New York, NY) in May 2013
Interview
I applied online a few times and was called out of the blue. I was surprised by the call because I had received an email stating that I didn't meet the qualifications for the position. However, I had modified my resume to include words from the job posting and that's probably what made the difference. I had a phone interview where I was asked about my availability and about my retail experience, and then I was asked to come in the following week. The interview was done by two department managers and the store manager. I was mostly asked about my experience and willingness to work early and late hours. They made it clear that it was a demanding job. A few days later I was called for a second interview but I was asked to bring in my SS card and all identifying information, so I assumed that I was hired. When I got there I found out it was an onboarding and was offered the position with no opportunity for negotiation.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at H&M (Austin, TX) in Apr 2013
Interview
You can apply online on their website. After applying they call you to schedule an interview. The first interview, I had two upper level supervisors. They asked me a couple of questions like, "have you ever been late" or "what happens when you have nothing to do?". The 2nd interview asked more questions about my previous jobs and what were my greatest strengths and weaknesses.

Question 1
The most difficult question to answer was "what was your favorite job and why?".
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at H&M (Calgary, AB)
Interview
A miniature phone interview from the classic interview question book (greatest weakness, availability, ability skills) then was offered a very casual in-store interview with two visuals who asked very general questions about previous work experience and situational customer problems. After meeting with the store manager the next day I was then considered for a part-time position. Easy interview overall.
