I applied online. I interviewed at HSBC (Seoul) in May 2022
Interview
It started off with a group interview and ended off as an individual interview. Group interviews were more intense as we had to watch grapple for opportunities to address the questions posed to us. Individual interviews were more personal - as they asked more about myself rather than technical aspects of the industry.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1) What are the values or motto you have in life? 2) How do you think of the interest rates and how does this a specific asset class you wish to address? 3) Why do you think there are negative swap spreads and how will this affect the markets.
I applied online. I interviewed at HSBC (London, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Very impersonal, was not sure of criteria as questions were extremely generic . Was a virtual interview with pre-set questions, quite easy to navigate though . Was given practice questions which helped, included a lot of situational judgment and what would i do in a situation type questions.
