I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HSBC (Hongkong) in Apr 2014
Interview
First begin with the online application then immediately they would ask you to do a aptitude test.
If you pass the screening they will send a email to schedule a phone interview.
Pass the phone interview and you'll be asked about the department that you're interested. Finally there will be a job matching and most of the time you do not get to work in your most preferred department. Still need to have a face to face interview with line manager before offer is made
