I applied online. I interviewed at Henkel (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
I applied for the role online and got a call from an HR rep to set up a brief screening call. The following week we did a brief 15-20 min phone call. The next was a video call with the hiring manager for the role and that was about 45 mins. Then the next round involved doing a project and then presenting it on a video call. The final round was an in person interview with 4 different team members. A few days later I received a rejection call. I then saw that the job posting has been up for over a year and that they reposted the job the following week after I got rejected. The job's compensation and benefits seemed good and their hybrid schedule was nice as well. However, I wish they were a little more transparent on how long the interviewing process would take including the project and that they gave a bit more notice on when they wanted to do an in person interview. I did not know an in person interview was required until a week before it was scheduled. Over the course of 2 months it was about approx 15 hours of interviewing including the time it took to do the project. It was pretty intense for a mid-level role. I'd also ask before interviewing how long the role has been vacant for and when they're looking to fill it. Everyone I had interviewed with was very nice and the HR rep was very responsive.

What do you use for research? How do you stay organized?
I applied online. I interviewed at Henkel in Nov 2025
Interview
really poor organisation in my honest opinion. recruiter called twice, forgetting she even called me before. had the same email from two different recruiters and sent the same information 3 times? hiring manager came off rude and didn't really care for what i said when answering her questions. i didn't fit in at all and gave me a really negative impression overall.
Had me do 3 interviews and then sent a generic email that I wasn’t a good fit. Picked apart my resume in a judgmental way. It felt like they were attacking my credentials.
