I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Scottsdale, AZ) in Apr 2011
Interview
I actually got a call asking if I was interested in working for Hollister (after being recruited on my college campus for Abercrombie) and at the time, I was looking for a second part time job. I set up the interview (witout even filling out an application, which I was told to fill one out that nigt), and I went in the following Tuesday. I interviewed with one other person; the store manager explained the position and talked about the company. He asked basic interview questions, and said we'd hear back in a week. I followed up a week later and got the job.
A common question asked in group interview settings is, “What does diversity mean to you?” It's a foundational topic that allows candidates to express their understanding of inclusion, equity, and respect for different perspectives. This question often opens up dialogue around how individuals value unique backgrounds, experiences, and identities in the workplace. It's not just about race or gender—it encompasses cultural, generational, and even cognitive differences. Employers use this to gauge how someone might contribute to a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone feels seen and heard.
The interview was a group interview but it was very easy. Everyone answered the same questions. I applied and was offered an interview within the same week. They choose who they like. Not difficult just don't be weird. There lost their sheen recently though so you should be fine if you don't fit the mold. Is there not 30 words yet this is ridiculous I don't know if I can trust this site
