I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Novi, MI) in Jul 2012
Interview
The initial interview was quite easy, they more or less just want to see you and get a feel for your personality. However, depending on the District Manager who interviews you and how busy the season is, it can be several weeks before you get a firm offer, and you may have one or two other interviews. These could even be with other DMs.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (King of Prussia, PA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I got a call from the store manager for a "meet & greet," followed by a second interview by the district manager (DM). Everything went great, a lot of behavioral questions but overall quite relax. Did not get the job because they wanted someone to stick with them in the long run, with a passion about having their own stores. The job, through observations and stories, is pretty harsh for the pay with weird working hours, no holiday time.
