I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Hollister Co.
Interview
Short, easygoing group interview in the middle of the store. Make sure to keep the makeup, hair and nails (if you're a girl) as natural as possible. Just be yourself and make sure you're able to answer any behaviorally-based questions. The managers are typically young themselves and relate to employees easily. Also, shake your manager's hand afterwards! I was the only one to do it, and I was also the only one in my group to get the job.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Hongkong) in Jul 2017
Interview
It is a group interview begin with self introduction and company backgroud.
Then manager may ask about the personality and experience sharing. Also talked about the word of "diversity"
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hollister Co.
Interview
Walked into the store and asked one of the employees if they're hiring. He told me he thought I already worked there (guess I fit the type lol) and directed me to the store computer to fill out an application. In the application, you choose a day and time you want to do an interview. So basically, if you apply, you get an immediate interview. All interviews are group interviews (unless you're the only person that shows up).
For the group interview, I showed up about 5-10 minutes early. They told me to wait in the lounge area. Others started showing up. I remember reading somewhere it's good to socialize with the other people to show you're outgoing so that's what I tried to do. We were then led by the manager outside of the store (so in the mall) and had the interview right outside, just standing in the corner basically. Nothing out of the ordinary, just basic interview questions (tell me about yourself, why do you wanna work here, etc.)
