I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2009
Interview
The hiring/store manager makes it very casual and it is a group interview. When I Interviewed there were 3 other people there and we were asked all the same questions, so it seems like some people would have an advantage over the other ones. We sat in the food court of a mall and it was loud and he just talked to us and t ook notes

Question 1
What does diversity mean to you and why is it important in the workplace?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hollister Co. (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2011
Interview
I got the job through a friend who worked there but here's how the real thing goes: You walk into a store and ask to speak to the manager, you fill out an application either at the store in the kiosk or online given a password because they have to approve of you working there as either a model or part time impact. Models are basically sales associates that represent the brand and impact work in the back stocking. You set up your own interview. It's a group interview. Be sure to look like you like Hollister. Wear hollister. If you don't have any hollister, wear a white v neck and skinny jeans. The brand is all about being natural and diverse. The group interview won't last that long. The manager will pick randomly so be sure to listen to other people's answers! It's all about looking the part. The whole interview process is a script, so don't worry about unexpected questions.

Question 1
"What is diversity?" The company is huge on diversity. I knew this ahead of time and said it as part of the answer to "Describe the Hollister brand?" I said "Anyone can wear hollister! It's very diverse, classic, and simple." If you get the diversity question alone, just say that anyone can wear hollister because Hollister appeals to all sorts of people, not just one identified crowd.
