I applied online. I interviewed at Honeywell (Torrance, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Location is in Torrance, CA.
Interviewers barely introduced themselves and did not provide any insight on the role (which had no description) or the company's products. I was expecting a 1:1 with the hiring manager but two other engineers showed up on the call. Hiring manager did not ask any meaningful questions about resume and expected the interviewee to fill up the time ("describe yourself" or other similar blanket statements). The other engineers did focus on asking questions about my resume although they were vague questions.
After clarifying the role, it seems they did not want to offer ANY training and simply wanted someone to grind. HM was rude and insulting (asked if I was interested in a E1 role instead, went on a slight tangent claiming that engineers nowadays just want $200k right from the get go).
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Honeywell in Oct 2022
Interview
Basics of BJT, MOSFET, Circuit analysis. Basic programming questions of C< Java, OOPS and some analytical questions. Live Coding session for simple codes like Fibonacci series, pattern generation, array and string manipulations.
Interview is easy and most of the questions are basic, so just prepare the engineering basics and be confident. The growth in the company is incredible as fresher it is a best company to join.
