Interview
Multiple phone screens by multiple levels. Hiring manager, direct report, peers, Vice President.
Multiple site interviews by GM, hiring manager, direct report, site leader, HR, peers.
Complex hiring environment competing with internal candidates and external candidates. Were looking for validation in promoting internally. Some high quality upper level managers. Hiring Manager decisive, well educated. Peers a little less so. Internal candidates acting as interviewers obviously had conflict of interest.

Question 1
Asking open ended questions while expecting very brief answers. No indication of right or wrong. Technical questions were very straight forward and easily within experience/ability level.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Honeywell in Apr 2010
Interview
Interaction with recruiter very positive and professional. HR interview positive. Hiring managers had presentations to make after the interview and were distracted and not focused on the interview. Other interviewers were "fluff" - they were selected because there were not enough people available in the office and they had no idea about the position or it's requirements. Overall a negative experience. The interview should have been postponed until the hiring mangers could focus and appropriate peer interviewers were available.
