My interaction with the talent team was poor. I was sent an online assessment as the first step of the interview process which I completed promptly. I then received an automated "thank you for completing the assessment but we are not moving forward with your application" email less than 12 hours later. I moved on and didn't think anything of it. Two days later, I received an email from the Talent team accusing me of not completing the assessment. I politely responded informing the Hopper Talent team member that I had and advised of the email communication I had received proving my completion of the assessment, including dates and times. I offered to complete any additional assessments needed for my application. Instead of addressing the mistake in their process, the team member didn't acknowledge it and was very short/rude in their reply. Despite this, I replied one further time to clarify the situation and then was ignored. Three days later, the same team member sent me the same generic email stating I had not completed the assessment. I understand that mistakes happen but please own them when they do and do not treat applicants this poorly.
