I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hopper
Interview
The process was quite lengthy, but the people were really friendly. After submitting my CV, I got an email with a homework assignment that I had to complete. The questions were situational- "How would you respond to this customer" type of thing. It came with a PDF with some of the details of the job that was really cute!
After the homework, I was scheduled for a phone interview 2 days later. The girl was very sweet and was understanding that I was nervous. She asked me some basic questions about my work history and how I handled difficult situations. Then she gave me a bit more detail of the day to day operation for the role. She was very clear in her information and made me feel more confident about learning everything that I would need for this position.
I got another email 2 days later to schedule an in person interview. The interviews were about 30min each with 4 different people. This was by far the longest interview I've ever had- it was a bit exhausting (they did keep offering me coffee and water though, which was nice). The questions were pretty standard and a bit repetitive, but not horrible. I definitely fumbled on a couple of them. By the end of it, I honestly wasn't sure if I'd done well or not.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Hopper? How do you deal with difficult customers?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hopper (Montreal, QC) in Mar 2019
Interview
Lots of steps, but I always received a response quickly. First I had a screening call, then an assignment, and then a two hour interview with four different people, then a short final interview. All the people were lovely, and the interviews were very difficult, however, many of the questions are repeated.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hopper
Interview
The application process was fairly easy, I saw the ad on hotelleriejobs.com and it redirected me to their website. I took a look and watched the Montreal office video. I was super excited to apply.
I got an answer incredibly fast. I got an email I want to say, 3 business days after I sent my resume and cover letter.
What I didn’t like was they ask you to do a little “homework” which took quite some time as there are 4 parts with several questions. To make a good impression I sent the homework rather fast and they emailed me back also fast saying they will take a look.
They reached out the next Monday and wanted to schedule a phone interview. They weren’t available until Thursday and Friday which I found irritating. Then the phone interview ones and the girl was very professional, trying to lead some answers out of me but all around it took 20 minutes and said I’d get an answer Monday which annoyed me and indicated me I wasn’t picked lol.
I had to reach out to ask them what’s up. Basically a long process with no outcome and my time lost.
I suggest switching the talent acquisition process to phone interview first and then the homework to see if the person has experience with customer service. It doesn’t lead to false expectations.
