I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Bogotá, Bogota) in Jan 2014
Interview
easy 2 interviews and that it they made a decision very quickly, got this job was easy because people dont want to work with chinese companies, They mostly asked about your contacts inside your customers and how you develop your business plan
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Sydney) in Feb 2015
Interview
3 man tribunal with country manager, sales director and technical manager. Took 5 days, didn't think it was particularly hard. The Chinese managers made a lot of promises that have subsequently been broken. Money for base salary was attractive - commercial penetration of market was overstated by chinese managers. Revenue target was for individual achievement does not match Huawei's market penetration or ability to execute against. Would strongly advise anyone being interviewed by Huawei to ask the hard questions and ask for proof or veracity of the answers you get back.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Shenzhen, Guangdong) in Aug 2011
Interview
1. Telephone interview, standard qualifying questions to deem suitability. e.g Academic qualifications, years of experience, industry background etc.
2. 2nd interview scheduled a week after with the head of the department, mine was 2 hours, it covered a broad range of topics, professional and personal. From industry experiences to personal hobbies and life goals. Very exhausting at the end.
3. 3nd interview was with the regional chairman, the entire interview was 90 minutes, I was bombarded with difficult questions and objections which I had to pay 120% of attention and think on my toes. Many were defeated and given up during this process. But the interviewer said I performed well and handled pressure exceptionally well.

Your lack of industry knowledge is certainly a burden to the company, and we work seven days a week and you will have no personal time to do self study. How would you overcome that and be successful in this role.
