I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Markham, ON)
Interview
Interviewed for their Markham office.
1. On-site (no reimbursement for transportation) technical interview.
2. Coding.
3. Pseudo-technical interview with some manager from China.
4. Technical interview with research director of their local division (Canada)
The random manager in the third interview seemed to know very little about technical stuff, but was very arrogant and kept interrupting when I was answering his questions.
HR seemed nice at first, but turned out she wasn't (details omitted, but yelled at me over the phone).
Overall disorganized interview process. The HR asked me for an on-site for the first round, but it seemed that the hiring manager didn't even know about it (therefore no reimbursement). Was asked almost the same questions in the 1st, 3rd and 4th interview.
Will try to suggest that you're not good enough and give contract positions instead of full-time. Don't fall for it, it's just their strategy to exploit new graduates.

Question 1
What's the difference between python `yield` and `return` statement
I applied online. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Paris) in Mar 2018
Interview
Applied online. After a few days, the hiring manager called me to talk about the team, the position and the next steps. A week after a senior researcher called me and we talk about my resume, my experiences, a little bit of technical things. Was very casual but interesting at the same time. He told me that there are many candidates but they have good feeling about my profile.
After this initial (I guess screening) step, I had 2 online technical interviews with some researchers. They asked open ended questions like "how would you solve this optimization problem" etc. Was interesting and they were polite.
Finally, call from the hiring manager that everything is going well and I should receive any day now a call from HR to start negotiations. Also, a final interview with the hiring manager's boss that overlooks the entire research division. Nice chat.
I declined the offer as I had other offers at the same time and the compensation package, although good, was not as impressive as I would have thought/expected.

Question 1
Network optimization problem & math. programming techniques.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Singapur) in Jul 2018
Interview
Two engineers interviewed about the technical contents for the job. Although I answered all the questions properly as I am knowledgeable in my field, but I didn't get any reply from the HR. It seemed that the interview was orchestrated to get know-how of my field rather than a genuine interview to hire me.
