I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Sep 2013
Interview
First I got interview call from company HR over phone where my personal information was checked. It was one to one interview with Owner, then skills review by employer, later background verification, then salary discussion finally.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Lagos) in Oct 2009
Interview
I was not informed of an interview and came in to discuss for a follow up. I was immediately set up for and interview and was asked to demonstrate my technical knowledge by diagrams on the white board. I was asked questions concerning my interest on the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Basingstoke, England) in Nov 2010
Interview
A bit of a strange phone interview. Was supposed to be an initial screening. Started 10 mins late because interviewer was late phoning. First question is to ask me to go through my CV explaining each role in detail. Only a couple of minor clarifications questions as I'm going through. After 10 mins interviewer butts in and says "I'm sorry we're going to have to break it here I've got another meeting to go to." I say "err, ok, it would be good if we could continue another time." Call finishes. Agent phones one week last and says I didn't get shortlisted for face to face interview. I say why because I haven't had a proper phone interview yet. Agent says my skills weren't to the standard expected. (I have significant and highly relevant experience in the areas requested). I say please can I have some more feedback from the interviewer. Email next day; apparently I talked too much! What a rubbish way to conduct the interview process for a senior role. If you're good and experienced, avoid this company.
