The interview was straightforward, questions within my grasp, yet the final nod eluded me. Despite not clinching the position, the experience was positive, offering insights for improvement. It felt comfortable, and though the outcome wasn't as hoped, it was a valuable learning opportunity.

Interview
The IBM interview process was fairly standard but was a VERY long process. I submitted my application October and was asked to complete a coding assessment about two months later. The coding assessment was not bad; they gave me 60 minutes to complete two questions and both of the questions weren't too challenging. I didn't hear back about an interview. There were two interviews that I was asked to complete. The first was a 45 minute behavioral interview where they asked about my background and a series of "What would you do in this scenario" questions. The second interview was a technical interview, which was actually very brief. I was given a case study and asked to describe my problem solving process. There wasn't any coding involved. It took another month for me to hear back about my interview. I unfortunately did not get the position.
