Hacker Rank assessment for data structures and algorithms like all substrings . I solved using Python3, 45 minutes 2 coding questions, I think they should have provided more time as the questions were of average difficulty

Question 1
data structures and algorithms like all substrings
Applied online and after a while, received an OA. Two questions 45 min. Easy-mid difficulty. Was my first oa in a while so i didn't do too well. Got a rejection after a few days
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IBM (Ahmedabad)
Interview
I took part in IBM's on-campus recruitment for a Software Developer role and solved both coding questions within 15 minutes. Despite completing the round quickly and correctly, I was not selected, while others who took 40 minutes or more were shortlisted.
It feels completely unfair, and IBM should not conduct their process this way. If speed and accuracy in solving the problems don't matter, then what's the point of the coding round? There was no transparency or explanation for why people who performed slower were chosen over those who completed the tasks faster.
IBM really needs to make their selection criteria clear to avoid this kind of unfair treatment. It’s frustrating for candidates who perform well but get overlooked without any explanation.
