Interview

Overall a good learning experience though I wasn't able to perform well. Fundamental concepts of digital and Device Physics were asked mostly. Rest other questions were on the entire PD fundamentals

Had three rounds of interview on the same day. I was given the truth table and asked to write out the reduced boolean expression for it. had given a timing path and asked to find the arrival time, required time and slack.

I applied off-campus through an Employee referral. My resume got shortlisted and then there was a screening call from the manager. After clearing the screening call there were 4 interviews - 3 technical and 1 Managerial Interview.

Question 1

Why NMOS is a weak transfer of 1 and string transfer of 0. What is threshold voltage and on what factors does it depends? What is IR drop? How is Leakage current related to temperature? Draw NOR gate using CMOS. What is Skew? Questions based on setup and hold time.

Draw 2x1 MUX using NAND gate and CMOS technology. Draw the same using AOI cell. How does Crosstalk affect the circuits?

Draw Full and half adder circuits. Draw a 4-bit adder circuit. Draw 2 state counter. Draw NAND gate using CMOS. What is logical effort? What are LVT cells and how does leakage is affected using them? Solving some Gate-based and Boolean algebra-based questions.
