Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A list of names were given in which some were others boss while some of the bosses were subordinate of other bosses themselves. Furthermore, if two people have problem with each other, the only person who can solve the problem is their common boss. The question was to develop an application to find the common boss of some given employees.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Research Triangle Park, NC) in Mar 2015
Interview
First a phone interview to check my soft skills and talk about how I communicate with other people. The job I was going to do would involve a lot of communication with customers. Then I was brought in for a second interview with the hiring manager, one of his teammates, and two other people over the phone. They asked how far I was in school and what were some of the things I knew. They also asked very limited technical questions and concepts, and talked about some of the projects I had on my resume.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at IBM (Gold Coast) in Jul 2012
Interview
2x phone interview, 1x onsite. All very well-organised and expectations were clear. Interviews were both technical and HR-like (eg, 'how do you work in a team' kind of questions). Communication was easy and consistent.
