IQVIA Recruiter interview questions

The interview itself was very casual and felt positive. Simple questions in a conversational format. However, getting to the interview was a bit of a mess. I received an email on a Thursday requesting an interview and asking me to respond with my availability for "early next week" and I replied within 5 minutes of receiving the email. Then crickets. No response back from the recruiter until mid-week the following week (after what would have been the presumed interview period). When they did finally reply they said they wanted to move quickly so I made myself available to interview the following day. I understand how challenging HR is at the moment in just about every company so I worked to be as flexible as possible, knowing they are understaffed and likely under tremendous stress. Everything seemed to go very well, good rapport, good indications that they liked my experience, etc. I was excited to move forward as the company seems really invested in emerging technologies that are impactful on a large scale. They said they wanted to move to next steps quickly and "not drag out the process," then indicated that I would hear from a manager soon for a 2nd round interview, but then more crickets. Totally ghosted even though all indications were that I was moving forward. In hindsight, the entire process was unprofessional and unkind to prospective colleagues who invest their time & energy in the interview process.
