      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Indeed

      Interview

phone interview: HR asked me how I heard of this position, then asked about my previous work experience, & why I wanted to work here. HR then described the job’s role and told me i was a good fit and to fill out a skills assessment. The phone conversation was a very casual 20 minutes and HR was very willing to give tips on the next steps. The skills assessment just evaluates your grammar and customer service skills. I didn’t have to practice or prep for the assessment and it was fairly easy. That same day, I was told I passed the skills assessment and HR asked to schedule me for an in-person interview. A week later, I met with 3 managers (30 minutes each) and then shadowed an employee on the job for 30 minutes. Total time in the office was 2 hours. What threw me off is the interviewers don’t give much positive reinforcement while you are answering their questions. They all had a very stern faces (I think on purpose) and this threw me off. One of them even narrowed his eyes while I was answering which made me think I said something wrong. I thought I had messed up the interview for sure but later that afternoon, I received an email asking for 3 references. The next morning, I received a call from HR extending an offer and congratulating me. I’m surprised at how fast Indeed got back to me. Overall process was about 8 days from first contact to offer letter.

1 phone screening 3 Interviews You shouldn't ask how much the salary is. They'll tell you the approximate salary at the end of the phone screening if they think you are good. Since I told them I already got some offers from the other companies, they finished all of the Interviews with 1 week. That was really helpful.

It was a great review process. Everyone I met with was nice and willing to answer questions. I had a few rounds of interviews with recruiters and hiring managers. It was a quick process in just a couple of weeks.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed in Jul 2025

      Interview

I applied online after seeing the opening on LinkedIn and was shortly after contacted for a screen by an internal recruiter. I passed this screen and within a week or so was invited to a first interview, which was a 30-minute presentation followed by some questions with a manager in both Client Success, and the partnered Account Management team. All seemed to go well and I was told I would hear back from my recruiter. I heard nothing for a month, except the couple of times I reached out to my recruiter, who advised that they had heard nothing from the hiring managers, until over a month had lapsed. Then I received a generic rejection email with no feedback, which does not feel fair after my time and efforts.
