I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Indeed in Dec 2020
Interview
Very long, strange tasks that didn't seem related to job, abysmally terrible communication after. Interviewed with about 4 different groups of people. There were technical and non-technical portions. The final interviewer hadn't even looked at my resume or anything and seemed proud of it.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX) in Oct 2021
Interview
Basic questions for a basic entry level type job for an excessive and time consuming 5 rounds. Most interviewers and managers in that department come from soft skill non-leadership backgrounds. Also touting diversity hypocritcally while being condescending to certain ethnicities and genders at the same time.

Interview
From the time I applied and received my first phone call was a quick turnaround. Very fast phone interview but friendly team member. The questions were general in nature and may not have been specific to my skill set.
Introductory call with recruiter followed by a video interview with the hiring manager and select team members. A fairly standard initial process. Base on my relocation concerns I was not a good fit for the team at that time. The recruiter seemed well bothered by my request. Perhaps they are tired of dealing with those questions or simply having a bad day. Either way, it could have been handled more professionally and saved time for all involved.
