The technical screen was done through Karat. I was told beforehand by the recruiter, I needed to pass 2 out of 3 code solving problems to move on to the next round and would start from easy to hard.
The difficulty I had is that the Karat interviews would require about 15 to 20 minutes of asking general questions before the coding challenges even starts, So with the remaining time to complete 2 to 3 problems seems a bit tight unless you have come across the problems before from practicing .
Also, this is more on Karat side, but the interviewer I got was mumbling and very difficult to understand throughout the interview, also seems disinterested and not paying attention during the interview.

I had a great experience up until I completed the final interview. I was anxiously waiting to hear back from the recruiter to see if I was selected for the position. More than 2 weeks passed and I reached out to the recruiter a couple of times by phone and email and never received any sort of follow up. It dawned on me that I was completely ghosted. I expressed my disappointment via linkedin to someone involved in the interview process and a day later received a generic automated rejection email. Soon after that, I was emailed a survey requesting feedback about my interview experience and the survey was addressed to the wrong person! So, I had to share feedback about that prior to even getting to share my feedback on the interview. I recently heard from some other friends who shared that Indeed has a reputation for ghosting candidates once they have selected someone else. I had no idea as I had previously only heard good things about the company and it is so unprofessional to leave candidates hanging endlessly.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX) in Sep 2019
Interview
Begins with a phone call from a recruiter (referred by employee). If you interview for different jobs they put notes in your file so I found subsequent phone calls to be shorter and shorter.
