Question 1
HR interview - very standard
why are you interested in indeed?
why are you thinking of switching jobs?
The interviewer was a non-native English speaker and very aggressive and crabby. Very rushed and unpleasant.
Written exam was stupid and boring. Not sure what they were trying to test.
On-line technical exam was confusing because they asked for solutions that no one in their right mind would do with big data. The interviewer's English was so bad that it took me a while to register what she was saying. She too was really crabby so by the second or third questions I wanted to hang up since I would not want to work with people that I encountered through the interview.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed
Interview
Friendly team but the interview process felt unfair. All interviews went excellently until I did the technical coding interview. The question was confusing and presented in a poor way. I messed it up and there was no room for trying it again. It felt like I was just tossed aside without a second chance, even after the entire process going so well so far.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and for taking the time to go through the interview process for the SRE/DevOps Engineer role.
Interviews are stressful, and we try our best to ensure our candidates have a positive experience throughout the interview process with us. Having said that, we are disappointed to hear everything went well until the technical coding interview, where you felt the questions during the session could have been presented in a better manner.
We will share your feedback with the relevant teams. Your feedback will help us refine our interview process as we constantly improve on ensuring a better candidate experience for everyone.

I applied online. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX) in Oct 2020
Interview
I did not complete the entire interview process, only two rounds. The first round was a screening with a recruiter and pleasant overall. The second interview was with my potential manager and peer/another manager. I got the impression that my potential peer/another manager seemed interested in the interview and asked the most questions. My potential manager, on the other hand, seemed a little more interested in eating his sandwhich/s and didn't ask too many questions (if any).
