I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Austin, TX)
Interview
Phone screen, onsite, onsite project presentation. Fairly straightforward, interview was professional but relaxed. Phone screen gave me a good idea that I could sell the product, the in persons focused on personality, drive, and sales ability.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Tokio) in Dec 2019
Interview
Phone screen followed by two additional interviews.
First interview is an algorithm heavy coding exercise where you are expected to answer a few questions and do 2-3 exercises (spending 10-20 minutes on each). These are complicated problems where you will need to know how to solve it shortly after reading the description. You do not have time to think of an algorithm creatively. Biggest complaint is that they do not take your expertise into consideration. Background in systems? I hope you can handle doing things like balancing a tree. If you thrive on sites like HackerRank you will (maybe) be fine.
Second interview was an interview with a manager and someone who was essentially a witness to the process (as he said nothing). The questions in this interview were reasonable, but he was very clearly hunting for specific approaches and did not take into consideration the difference between a billion dollar wholly owned subsidiary (with teams for every purpose) and a scrappy startup.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Indeed (Scottsdale, AZ) in Nov 2019
Interview
Phone screening, followed by in-person interview one week later. This interview consisted of meeting individually with three Sales Directors, asking and answering questions. Once through this interview round, an in-person interview with a VP was scheduled. This was the cold-call portion. (see sample question)
Overall this was a very intense interview process. I felt VERY well-prepared by my assigned Indeed recruiter, he did an excellent job. I felt like I knew exactly what to expect. That being said, it was extremely thorough... I was asked everything under the sun about my past work experience, moving into Indeed, and my personal goals. It was an enjoyable experience if you like a challenge. I definitely knew my skills were being tested the entire time, and that the interview structure really let candidates showcase their faults/strengths.

Question 1
Mock cold call in-person for final interview. The scenario was given to me a few days in advance so I could prepare questions. I was allowed to repeat the cold call after receiving critiques.
