I applied online. I interviewed at Infosys (Neu-Delhi) in Nov 2021
Interview
The first round was very comfortable and the guy taking the same was also very easy to communicate ( although had 12+years experience) but the second round recruiter was a hard nut to crack and tough to handle as if he has some prejudices in his mind. For every answer he was like you are correct but these things needs to also taken into consideration…you tell 10 he tell 3 more. Indeed was not very accommodating for asking any clarification if you had doubts in his questions. I feel interviewers should be accommodative and rude so that the candidate can give his best.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infosys (Pune) in Jan 2022
Interview
I got referred for the post of Consultant. There was one round of technical process which was almost in my realm of the work I do. After the technical process, I get to know that I am shortlisted and the HR will contact me. The next process was the background checks for which I provided all the documents that the HR requested from me so that they can contact me and do all further negotiations stuff.
After 5-6 days, I directly got a rejection mail from the Talent Acquisition team with an ambiguous reason.
After couple of follow-ups, I got to know that my salary expectation was more.
One request to the hiring team that please provide a chance to the interviewee for negotiations and stuffs. Also, please provide a proper closure to the interviewees.

Interview
HR reached out to me and ask for more information (e.g. salary expectation). After going through all 4 interviews (4 hours + prep time), they then offered me the job however can't meet my salary expectation. There is NO room of negotiation at all.
