Interview
I got a mail from Infosys for attending a technical interview. After clearing the technical interview, I was made to wait for few hours to attend HR interview. There were few negotiations on deciding the salary. The same day I was informed of my selection. The people who conducted technical interview are good. The HR person was bit rude and she misunderstood my preference of area and she recommended me for support job, which I hated. It took almost a year to change the job internally to move to another division of my choice.

The interview process was fairly simple and it was completely by choice, which interviewer you would get. The most difficult question was to explain an algorithm to manipulate strings to search for a substring and replace it by new string without using String's internal methods.

The Interview have 3 rounds all rounds are Virtual.
1. Technical - 40 mins
2. Managerial - 15 mins
3. HR - 10 mins
You need to give the technical round very well other rounds are not very hard.

Long and very confusing at time, talked to maybe 15 different people through the entire process and rarely did not know who i should be following up with. Not a very good impression of a company im considering working for.
