I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Infosys (Bengaluru) in Feb 2010
Interview
I asked my friend to refer me for Technical Architect position in Bangalore. I am in US. It was so confusing that initially HR thought I am looking for a position in US (not sure if it was intentional). After lots of debate back and forth finally I got and cleared the interviews and the Sr. Manager told me that I need to work in US for first few months, then go back to India and work from there. I agreed for that.
God knows what happened, I did not hear anything after that. When I checked with my friend he said my interview results have disappeared from their system. He started following up, lots of debate once again back and forth etc...
Later HR came back saying I am not eligible for a Technical Architect position, so would hire me as either Project Manager or Technical Lead in Bangalore.
So finally I realized and decided that its not a place I want to work...
Checked basics of Java, OOPS. Asked to write basic code using Angular. Asked questions on system design. Asked questions on airlines domain as I had worked in airline projects. Checked about structured and unstructured databases.
