I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Infosys in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process consisted of two rounds: an initial aptitude-based exam, followed by a detailed interview. In the interview, they assessed communication skills, reviewed my resume, discussed my technical knowledge (including SDLC, OOPs, and ML), and asked HR questions on stress management in the workplace.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the interview, they primarily focused on assessing my communication skills. It began with a technical question on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its phases, where I explained each phase in detail. The interviewer then reviewed my resume, asking about my experience in hackathons. I shared insights from my role as a team leader, describing how I effectively led the team by assigning tasks, ensuring clear communication, and collaboratively tackling challenges. They also inquired about the projects listed on my resume, covering areas like Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) and Machine Learning (ML), where I explained the technologies I used, the challenges encountered, and the outcomes of each project. Additionally, they asked HR-based questions to gauge how I handle stress at work. I shared my strategies for managing stress, such as taking short breaks and organizing my tasks to maintain productivity. Overall, the interview emphasized clear and effective communication in all responses.
